OSTEOPATHY AND PHYSICAL THERAPY
The core of my work consists of osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and physical therapy, which I supplement with elements of psychomotorics and energetic techniques as required. This variety of treatment methods allows me to adapt my techniques and therapies individually to the needs and preferences of your horse. Supported by a well-founded knowledge of the horse's anatomy and biomechanics, I use my hands to find movement restrictions and blockages in the horse's body and help to bring it back to its physiological optimum.
All of this happens with detailed attention to your horse's personality. At any moment of the treatment, your horse decides what it wants to allow and where its limits are.
Osteopathic medicine focusses on the various structures of the body (muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, fascia, internal organs, nervous systems) and their connections.
My treatments can improve your horse's health ans well-being but it can not replace regular vet-checks and veterinarian medical aid.

ABOUT ME
HORSES, HORSES, HORSES
For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around horses. I started out riding dressage as a little girl and soaked up as much as I possibly could. As of 2006, I lived in the USA on several occasions. This is where I came in touch with ranch work and the American Quarter Horse. I find myself dedicated to western riding ever since.
The most valuable lesson I have learned in the three decades I have been around horses is this: No matter what style and with which intention you ride, if your horse isn't healthy and content, it all means nothing. This is why I went on to study and practice Equipathy at College Caball in Bavaria in 2018. Equipathy molds the knowledge of Osteopathy, Physical therapy and Psychomotorics into a holistic treatment concept that focuses on the individual horse. I am proud to serve as a practical supervisor and examiner at this school by now.
